Andy Martens is senior vice president of New Product Development for West, the foremost provider of electronic workflow solutions to the U.S. legal profession. Mr. Martens leads the team that designs and develops West's products and services for legal professionals, including content acquisition and feature, functionality and user interface design.

Prior to his current appointment, he served as vice president, New Product Development, where he led successful product initiatives, including Westlaw Litigator. Mr. Martens has been with West for more than 14 years, holding a variety of editorial and product development positions. Before joining West he was an associate in the Labor and Employment Law group at Faegre & Benson in Minneapolis, Minn.

Mr. Martens received his juris doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and is admitted to the bar in Minnesota.
